I would like to thank you for the effort that everyone has made last year to ensure their child attended school as often as possible. As a result of this hard work we greatly improved our attendance rate and became one of the most improved schools in Merthyr Tydfil for attendance.
Dowlais Primary School expects excellent attendance from its pupils, in order for them to make the most of the opportunities that the school has to offer. Good attendance will be encouraged and reinforced during Friday Celebration Assembly. There is a weekly award for the Junior and Infant class with the best attendance.
