'Dragon Tales'

This term, your child’s class topic is ‘Dragon Tales’. This exciting, cross-curricular topic will take children on a magical journey into a world of dragons, castles, legends and traditional tales. Through a range of engaging activities, children will explore Welsh myths and legends, storytelling, castles and the history and geography of Wales, while developing their creativity and imagination.

Children will have opportunities to become storytellers, authors, artists, historians and explorers, creating their own tales, discovering legendary characters and investigating the places and stories that make Wales so special.

On our topic immersion day (Dragon Adventure Day), children will take part in a range of exciting activities and suggest ‘I wonder...’ questions, which will act as pupil-influenced focuses and help shape the direction of our class topic. Get ready for a magical term of myths, legends, adventure and discovery!
